Help Kigali Kids
- Our Story -
Deanne Reynolds is the Founder of Help Kigali Kids. In 2021 Deanne was diagnosed with cancer. Through prayer and an amazing chain of events, she decided that it was time to finally follow her dream of making a difference in the lives of children in need.
She loves working with children, and always felt a calling to Africa. In December of 2023 she and her husband Todd went to Rwanda, stayed in three villages and worked with over 200 children. She immediately found her passion and is committed to helping the children.
The vision of Help Kigali Kids is to:
Provide books and supplies to the children in three villages near Kigali so that they can learn English
Provide books to a library and career center being created near Kigali
Provide an end-to-end education and career plan for the children - from primary school through post-secondary school
Through learning English, help end the cycle of poverty in Rwanda
